Saturday saw Kurt lead us from the Clubhouse in Writtle over to the startline of the Hylands Mud Sweat and Gears race. Two goups were the assembled to practice those critical first few seconds of a race as the riders fight to be at the front of the pack into the first tight corner. Several starts and short laps in the Hylands Woods followed.
With the trails being in such good condition, two groups headed off towards Highwood for a loop before heading back to the cafe in Writtle.
