Saturdays club ride proved to be a reminder that mountain biking can be a dangerous sport even for the best of us.  After a good dry ride in the sunshine, we were heading back to the car park on our "final run" through Danbury Common, one of our regular riders, Harvey Jennings over jumped the final table top, fell on landing resulting in a broken arm. 
A big thanks must go out to the paramedics who attended the scene for their friendly and  professional service in both treating Harvey at the scene and then getting him safely out of the Common and on to Broomfield where Harvey underwent surgery later that evening.
Get well soon Harvey, we are thinking of you although you might want to mention to you dad that the stand is meant for fixing the bike, hopefully you will benefit from it too!
