| Harrison Scofield takes 3rd place at Rendlesham |
The 2014 race season has got off to a good start for CYCC. At a schools race organised by Mark Wyer earlier in the month, Alex Steward and Harvey Jennings took 2nd and 3rd place respectively. Then at Rendlesham, MSG Round 1, Alex Salmon managed to take 3rd in the Youth category successfully managing to convert some hard training over the winter months. Most encouraging however is as some two of our most successful racers of 2013 have been taken on by local teams (Jo Pitt is riding for Flitch Cycles http://flitchbikes.co.uk/ and Jordan Beighton is riding for Kreek Racing Team / Riverside Cycles http://kreekracingteam.com/ ) we have a new generation of riders joining the club and getting results. well done to Harrison Scofield on his hard fought 3rd in the U12 category and also his brother Harvey who came in 8th in a field of 26. We look forward to seeing more results from the Scofield twins and of course Will Smith in the coming weeks and months.
