Codham Park was drenched in sunshine on Sunday for the MSG Eastern Regional Championships. As ever Matt & Graham had managed to make a fantastic course with some new sections for the days racing.
CYCC turnout was lower than usual mainly due to GCSE commitments. The Scofield twins Harrison & Harvey represented the club in the U12 race, this time 2 laps a longer circuit taking in a large part of the adult course making for a challenging race. Having managed to miss a start line crash, both manged very repectable places, Harrison 5th & Harvey 11th from a field of 35.
Also congratulations to club regulars Jordan Beighton & Joe Pitt. Jordan, riding for Kreek Racing Team was victorious in the Juvenile Race, Joe, riding for Flitch Cycles was a very creditable 3rd in the Junior category.
