| CYCC Ready to race
After all the rain we have had this year, blue skies and dry single track greeted us for a fantastic day of racing at Codham Park. The track was super technical in places from the slippery off camber grassy drop by the klake, the rocks section plus the usual favourite quarry area. As if that was not enough, there was also the BMX track included in the circuit!

CYCC was represented in no less than four races, firstly in the U12 boys, William Smith put in a valiebt effort against some much older youths. Riding a shortened circuit concentrating on the technical quarry area, William managed to complete the full 4 laps finishing in a fantastic position of 6th out of 23 riders. Keep your eyes open for Will in the next couple of years in this class!

In the youth race, Alex Salmon and Joe Pitt were racing. In a very fast race , Joe managed to get 6th place, Alex suffered a punture after a solid first lap after which he was forced to retire.

In the Jouvenile race, a big well done to Lewis Jones who chose the most technical race on the MSG circuit as his racing debut. Lewis came in a respectable 7th in a very proffesional looking field.

Finally, big congratulations to Jordan Beighton who stormed the field finishing in first place an impressive 6 minutes ahead of the field.
